Where do I get help understanding the Member Web site?

When are monthly meetings?

Go to the offc.org website > login > go to member home page > menu dropdowns are listed for President’s message, next meeting, education (classes), outings, member roster, youth. Monthly meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of the month (except December’s check the calendar) Monthly meetings are suspended during the summer months (June, July, August) to allow all to stay focused on our fishing.

Where do I sign up for classes and training?

Do we have a place where club members can buy and sell gear from other members?

On our website we have a classified section where members can list any gear they would like to sell

How do I sign up for an outing?

Are outings free?

Check the outing details. Some are free and some are not.

Can I bring a guest to an outing?

No. Our liability insurance does not include a provision for non-club members to attend outings.

If I’m a new or returning member and would like to go fishing with someone, who can I ask?

There are many answers to this. If you don’t know anyone in the club, ask the person who sponsored you. Ask one of the people on the greeter team or SME list who they would recommend. See OFFC website or hard copy available at the sign-in desk for SME. Ask the outings chairperson. Contact the leader for an outing that looks interesting, and see if it would be a good fit for you. Log onto the OFFC website, go to the member forum and post your question. Be sure to communicate with any specific requirements.

What is Chubski

 Chubski is the OFFC Fly Tying Round Table.  We generally meet monthly at the Redmond VFW from 6:00 PM until 7:30 or 8:00 to tie up some flies for the current season.  Chubski is open to all OFFC members at no cost.  Terry Dix will have all of the needed materials and if needed, a spare vice and tools will be available. Beginners are always welcome. Email chubski@offc.org
