Lone Lake Outing With Healing Waters:
Help us with a head count for the Lone Lake-Healing Waters Outing, Whidbey Island, March 3. This will be a good opportunity to catch some 18-20” rainbows and help some returning soldiers enjoy a good day on the water.
A number of people generously offered to help. Please let us know if you can still join, row or both. Email replies are fine.
Lone Lake is good fishing in Spring, let’s get all the Vets on the water that want to fish. We want one Vet in a boat or raft with a rower. Most Vets are ambulatory with good movement and limited handicaps. One Vet per boat gives all a chance for a good time.
Bruce Tyson and I are working with Chuck Tye, whose coordinating Healing Waters. We are doing a tying session on the Olive Willy this Tuesday 01/31 and will better know how many soldiers want to fish. I expect about 6 or so.
Help us prepare by telling us if we can count on you: Anglers, Rowers, or something else. Thanks.
