Youth Outreach


  • Provide an environment that encourages youths and their family and/or guardians to learn the skills of Fly Fishing and respect for our fishing environment.
  • Provide youth and family and/or guardians the opportunity to get exposed to many aspects of Fly Fishing and understand the safety issues for each.
  • Provide opportunities to: Understand the equipment; Learn to cast; Learn about bugs and how to Tie flies; Environmental Awareness / Conservation / Fishing Etiquette; Go Fishing Other related fly fishing activities as well as participate in club activities


Formulate and establish a program within OFFC that engages and incorporates youth and their family and/or guardians into  OFFC.
