A River Never Sleeps by Roderick L. Haig-Brown
First published in 1946 and out of print for 15 years. I paid $65 on Amazon for this book and it was well worth it! Donated By: Terry Provonsha EST Value: $65
I have read 40+ books on fly fishing and this is far and away my favorite. It describes adventures in Washington and British Columbia. The writing is so beautiful.. Nick Lyons says “this remarkable book is surely the one on fly fishing that most repays careful reading-and I envy those who are fishing in Haig-Browns water for the first time.”
