I am a recovering complete hip replacement patient and have a question. On my eighth week of recovery and feeling great. Per my doctor, I am free to explore in my normal endeavors. Has anybody had a hip replacement and what did they do to get back out on the streams/creeks safely? Maybe an easy creek to walk through..? Thanks ahead!!

I have not had hip surgery and Iām glad you are recovering nicely. Have you tried fishing for sea-run Cutthroat? There are many saltwater public beaches throughout Puget Sound. These beaches may offer a safer alternative, plus the benefits of aerobic exercise and strengthening your hip and leg muscles. Let me know if you have questions. Jeff Norman
